Don't forget about Parent/Teacher Conferences!
This is a reminder to our families that we have parent/teacher conferences coming up over the next two days. Drummond Island Elementary will have parent teacher conferences tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb 28th from 3:30pm to 6:00pm.
On Thursday, Feb 29th, all students will be released at 12:30pm for a half day of school. All schools will then have parent/teacher conferences from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. Thursday evening only DATA and DeTour High School will have parent/teacher conferences from 3:30pm to 6:00pm.

Today, our preschoolers visited Harbour View Assisted Living in town and did a little caroling and reading a Christmas story to some of the folks residing there!

Mrs. Livingston's 7th grade students had story hour with the the K/1 class today. The older students shared the Christmas mystery books they personally wrote and illustrated.
Please don't forget that the auditions for Moana Junior,are Monday and Tuesday after school on the stage! It's going to be so much fun! Mrs. Miller and I and Mr. Orr will be there. And maybe one more special guest

Christmas Spirit Week Starts Thursday, 12/14/23!
4th and 5th graders testing out their engineering skills, designing a Thanksgiving table for a STEAM project!
Today the 4/5 class had a visit from a local Ojibwe woman who taught our children how to make their own dream catchers!
DATA is asking for donations of gloves, mittens, hats, and other winter attire to be hung from our Christmas tree. Not only will this help keep our kiddos warm this winter, it will also help us get into the spirit of giving!
